About the 53rd World Trade Center’s Association General Assembly

The 53rd World Trade Center’s Association (WTCA) General Assembly (GA) is an annual occasion bringing together high-level government and business delegates from across the globe. Hosted in Accra, Ghana, from 23 – 28 April 2023, this event marks not only the first GA in Sub-Saharan Africa but also the return of large in-person WTCA gatherings after a three-year hiatus due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Under the theme “Towards African Economic Integration and Enhanced Global Presence,” the 53rd WTCA General Assembly highlights Africa’s burgeoning potential as the world’s next economic powerhouse. The event will celebrate the Africa Continental Free Trade Agreement (AfCFTA), shining a spotlight on the trade and investment opportunities that are shaping the continent’s trajectory on the global stage
