NAMIBIA DIGITAL NOMAD VISA

The Namibia Digital Nomad visa grants a six-month stay:

  1. The Namibia Digital Nomad Visa is non-renewable and applicants can only reapply 12 months after the date of expiry

  2. No change of condition is allowed on a Namibia Digital Nomad Visa

Eligibility:

  1. Work remotely for companies or clients based outside Namibia

  2. Freelancers, self-employed professionals or remote employees

  3. Minimum monthly income of USD 2,000 

  4. Valid international health and travel insurance, plus valid passport

  1. Completion of visa application form (3-1/0033) signed by applicant

  2. Accompanied, dependent must complete separate application form (3-1/0033)

  3. Medical Certificate (3-1/0003)

  4. Radiological Report (31/0004)

  5. Supporting Documents

  6. Certified Copy of passport and /or legal status if in Namibia

  7. Proof of Medical Insurance and/or comprehensive travel insurance

  8. Motivation letter from NIPDB (Letter to be submitted directly by NIPDB to MHAISS with application forms and supporting documents)

  9. Proof of Income/funds (Payslip/Employment Contract) to sustain yourself and dependants (USD 2000 - Applicant, USD 1000 - Accompany Spouse, USD 500 - per accompanying child per month)

  10. 6 Month Bank Statement

  11. Applicable fees: N$3 300 Required upon approval

  12. Motivation letter from Employer

  13. Copies of qualifications

  14. Original/Notarized or Certified copy of Police Clearance from Country of Origin (translated into English)

Our nomad visa offers a quick and straightforward process for obtaining a visa from the comfort of your own home. The visa allows digital nomads to work, live and travel in Namibia for a total of six months provided that they earn USD2000 monthly from outside of Namibia.

Upon obtaining formal approval from the Ministry of Home Affairs, Immigration, Safety, and Security (MHAISS), the applicant is required to make the payment before arrival in Namibia. Alternatively, a local representative, acting on behalf of the applicant, may remit the NAD 3,300.00 (Approx. NAD195) fee directly to the MHAISS.


Following the confirmation of payment, MHAISS will issue the applicant with a loose entry visa, which serves as the official documentation for entry into the country.
