The Namibia Digital Nomad visa grants a six-month stay:

  1. The Namibia Digital Nomad Visa is non-renewable and applicants can only reapply 12 months after the date of expiry

  2. No change of condition is allowed on a Namibia Digital Nomad Visa

Our nomad visa offers a quick and straightforward process for obtaining a visa from the comfort of your own home. The visa allows digital nomads to work, travel and study in Namibia for a total of six months. 

Upon obtaining formal approval from the Ministry of Home Affairs, Immigration, Safety, and Security (MHAISS), the applicant is required to make the payment prior to arriving in Namibia. The payment can be executed through an Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT).  Alternatively, a local representative, acting on behalf of the applicant, may remit the USD124 fee directly to the MHAISS.


Following the confirmation of payment, MHAISS will issue the applicant with a loose entry visa, which serves as the official documentation for entry into the country.

BECOMING A NAMIBIAN DIGITAL NOMAD

Step One: Complete The Visa Application Form


Applicants interested in the Namibia Digital Nomad Visa will have to prove that they earn enough money to be self-sufficient. ​They will need to demonstrate proof of income/funds (Payslip/Employment Contract) to sustain themselves and dependants (USD2000 – Applicant, USD1000 – Accompanying Spouse, USD500 – per accompanying child per month).

​

Applicants must also have valid travel documents, health or travel insurance covering risks while in Namibia. Approximately USD124 (NAD2200) will be required upon arrival as payment for the Visa.

Step Two: Booking Your Flight Tickets

Step Three: Finding Accommodation


Got your flight ticket booked? Now you will need an address for your stay in Namibia. From its plethora of wildlife to breathtaking landscapes, Namibia is the gem of southern Africa. There is ample accommodation available with luxury lodges, as well as remote tented camps with excellent facilities.

Step Four: Vehicle Hire
